This collection of literary fiction shorts beautifully encapsulates the final decade of the 20th century, where the digital age was in its infancy and the internet only starting to emerge. It puts you in mind of the writing of David Foster Wallace, sometimes seemingly unfocused but always rich with thought-provoking reflections on life as it was at that moment in time.

Zbigniew was a Polish-Australian writer with a love for literature and an impressive library of it. He never managed to catch the attention of a commercial publisher during his lifetime, surprisingly. Undo Redo Press are proud to be bringing his work to the world.

Zbigniew died of cancer in 2021. Through Vocations, his legacy lives on.
